WW1 Hallmarked Silver and Tortoiseshell Sweetheart brooch of the Royal Navy

A scarce First World War period Royal Navy tortoiseshell sweetheart brooch still on its original makers card. Silver regimental badge inlaid in tortiseshell with rolled silver frame, frame is hallmarked 'FRG' for FR Baldwin and Birmingham Assay dated 1918. Beautiful unmarked brooch that has not seen the light of day since they were made, original pin and hook fittings, completely undamaged. Scarce and sought after sweetheart brooch especially in such unused mint condition. Diameter of badge 30mm.
