Royal Scots cap badge with 'The Royal Regiment' title instead of 'The Royal Scots' as per the 1852-71 period glengarry, not come across a modern version before, I believe it was for the Pipes and Drums Band, for the avoidence of doubt it is not a reproduction badge, it is properly made, bi-metal with red centre backing for the 1st Battalion, it is unworn and unmarked, its actually a nice badge, came in with a Royal Scots collection, I've just not come across it before, an interesting variation.
