A large collection of Scottish Regimental cap badges mounted by regiment, each card covering various years of the regiment's history - double click image to see picture file - this has been an old collection, almost a shame to break up, nicely mounted on green card, these cards were all stored in an old wooden chest which I will be listing shotly, the chest is named to 'Colonel Wallace, MS Corps'. Royal Scots cap badge with 'The Royal Regiment' title instead of 'The Royal Scots' as per the 1852-71 period glengarry, not come across a modern version before, I believe it was for the Pipes and Drums Band, for the avoidence of doubt it is not a reproduction badge, it is properly made, bi-metal with red centre backing for the 1st Battalion, it is unworn and unmarked, its actually a nice badge, came in with a Royal Scots collection, I've just not come across it before, an interesting variation.

A scarce 7th Gurkha Rifles Officers silvered pouch badge in excellent unworn condition, Queens Crown, with polished back-plate and original heavy brooch pin fitting. The number '7' between crossed kukri's on a circlet bearing the title 'Gurkha Rifles' in the centre of a maltese cross. All set within a wreath of laurel with the crown resting upon a blank tablet.
