WW2 German 1944 Wound Badge - Silver, non magnetic, in excellent condition with minimal wear. This scarce wound badge in my opinion is a post war manufacture by Rudolf Souval or Juncker on original tooling, it is not solid silver but plated, all the standard reference points appear to be satisfied e.g. the size of the 3 berries, the position of the sword hilts, the rim of the helmet, size of swastika etc. Original examples of the 1944 wound badge are almost impossible to find, Not only a credible gap filler but the next best badge to an original. This very scarce badge is of exceptional quality and made by the best of the badge makers albeit a post war manufacture.
