A rare opportunity to aquire an artists proof of a Royal Horse Guards badge, hand painted on to artists board, this full coloured proof would show the Regiment exactly what the made design will look like, these proofs do not normally become available, this is a beautiful painted badge, approx board size is 7 x 4 1/4 inches, signed and dated by Gillian Carmichael, who was associated with the late Gaunt team and the early London Badge and Button Company. A very scarce and signed badge artwork, a fine investment that would look amazing when framed.

A very scare surving cloth badge. possibly a sports badge, for the 3rd Royal Tank Regiment, though it might actually be 3 Company Royal Tank Corps, when the regiment changed over from the Tank Corps to the Royal Tank Corps, for a short time before the protocol dictated that the name must change to the Royal Tank Regiment. Badge is 11 x 9.5 cm, or approx 4 x 3.5 inches in old money, lovely condition though with some moth nips to the lower and right edge. This is a very scarce badge to find.

An exceptionally rare, original and unissed Officers 2 piece cap badge to the Royal Tank Regiment circ 1970s. The badge is by Gaunt though is not maker marked. This is an outstanding quality Officers 2 piece badge, silvered tank with bronze wreath and crown. The blades are un-bent as unissued. The badge is very similar to the last Kings Crown pattern, early 50s, and is the Queens Crown variation of that earlier badge. It is exceptional quality, crisp of detail and basically unissued/unworn. The detail is outstanding. This was one of a number held by the QM of 3RTR for Officers and Warrent Officers, also worn by the band WOs for a while.
