A fine example of the very scare and sought after 'Sex - Breakfast of Champions' overall badge from the James Hunt Formula 1 racing team, circ 1970s. Beautiful unworn patch that we would never be allowed to have today. James apart from his great racing was known for his humour and interest in the ladies. A fine badge from the days before political correctness went daft, in the seventies a racing driver’s overalls were increasingly turning into what they are perceived as now, a marketing tool for sponsors! Whilst other drivers were selling every square inch of fabric on their outfits, Jame's dry humour came through very loud and extremely clear, he thought it would be funny to wear his now world famous patch “Sex – breakfast of champions.” A scarce and refreshing blast from the past!
