A scarce First World War period Royal Army Medical Corps silver and tortoiseshell sweetheart brooch still on its original makers card. Silver regimental badge inlaid in tortiseshell with rolled silver frame, frame is hallmarked 'FRG' for FR Baldwin and Birmingham Assay dated 1918. Beautiful brooch, a couple of hairline scratches, left side rolled edge slightly away from tortoiseshell, original pin and hook fittings. Scarce and sought after sweetheart brooch especially in such lovely mint condition. Diameter of badge 30mm.
