An early reproduction first pattern E-Boat badge, this came in within a collection, I cannot guarantee this badge, it is not maker marked, its front finish is spot on and with a fine patina overall from kicking around all these years, I believe early postwar manufacture, most likely of German origin, it is original quality brass and does not bend like many of today's modern copies. Would make a very credible gap filler for this scarce badge, one of the best reproduction E-Boat badges I've come across, again, please note that this is sold as a reproduction.
