A rare Machine Gun Corps cap badge attributed to the 117th Machine Gun Company, the 117th MG Coy had the crossed bones mounted on to the crossed vickers of their cap badges. This example is made by Gaunt and has the round JRGaunt & Son London plate affixed to the rear of the crown, all three lugs intact, lovely condition with a nice patina overall. One of the hardest badges for the MGC collector to find.

An extremely rare RNAS Armoured Cars shoulder title, title is most likely circ 1914 when the RNAS was formed or possibly when the unit served in the Middle East, Romania or Russia. Would appear to be workshop made rather than a proper commercial manufacturered process - this was a common practice in the First World War. Simply rare.
