Scarce Rutland Home Guard badge, both lugs intact, Rutland being the smallest county in England at that time had only one Home Guard Battalion which was based at Oakham.

A scarce Home Guard badge of the 1st American Squadron, in excellent condition, has the threaded screw backed post in the centre with the two anti-slip pins to each wing, maker marked 'J.R.Gaunt, London' under the threaded screw, looks like a 'I' in the tail feathers too, a very difficult badge to come across these days. A fine example of this Home Guard badge.

Vickers Armstrong Factory Home Guard unit cap badge in excellent condition, minimal wear, not often found. Home Guard units were instructed to adopt the cap badge of their county regiment, however, the Vickers Armstrong Factory were the only factory Home Guard unit authorised by the War Office to wear a cap badge of their own design.
