As a collector myself I have always tried to purchase with a discerning eye - a fact that I hope you see in the items that I have selected to sell, many of which are from my own personal collection. I believe our 'collections' go through a number of key stages just as we the collector go through such stages - structuring our themes, changing interest area and of course specialising within our field. I am currently re-structuring my collection and will be adding some choice specimen pieces to the website. If anything does catch your eye then do please email me for further details "

An excellent printed metal plate advertising the BMW R75 Motorcycle combination. Metal plate is approx 15 x 13 inches, not a period printed plate but about 1960s-70s. No damage to the image and no bends, creases or damage to the plate. A nice item of militaria and bike interest

A very nicely made reproduction WW2 Eastern Front rabbit fur pull-down cap badged with SS insignia, sized as 58, in excellent to unworn condition. Came in with a collection of hats. Cap is well made with wartime material, if not original German then the wartime Swedish cloth that so many reproductions were made from. As caps go this is a plausible example of a wartime cap, extremely well made.

A reasonable condition battle damaged M40 steel helmet. Helmet is in overall good condition with a minor front and right side impact and what appears to be a bullet hole to the rear, damage indicating a round entering the helmet. Helmet shell retains it liner band and collapsed liner leather, it does not appear to be maker or batch marked. It has an 'SS' shield to the side - I cannot guarantee the authenticity of the decal, hence it is simply offered as the photographs show, a battle damaged M40 helmet. The helmet came from France.

An early reproduction U-Boat Clasp in silver, this came in within a collection, I can not guarantee this badge as I do not like the pin attachment, that said it has an appropriate fluted spring steel pin, its front finish is spot on and with a fine patina overall from kicking around all these years, I believe 60s manufacture of German or Austrian origin, in a strong zinc alloy, does not bend like many of today's modern copies. Would make a credible gap filler for this scarce badge, again, please note that this is sold as a reproduction.

An unworn WW2 German splinter pattern jacket made by Miltec for re-enactors and/or films. Jacket is as far as I can see unworn, in as bought condition, large size, a nice jacket for re-enactors or walkers. Jacket measurements are approx 21 inches (53cm) across the shoulders, 33 inches (84cms) drop from neck to hem and arm length from shoulder to cuff is 24 inches (61cms). A very nice large size jacket in excellent unworn condition.

An SS cap eagle in white alloy metal, nicely maker marked with the diamond and SS runes along with 'Ges Gesch', both pins intact, an interesting reproduction SS Eagle that began appearing on the market in the mid 1980s, we were unsure of the source though it was felt at the time to be either Latvian or East German, they haven't been around for a while, this one was in a collection that I bought in. For the avoidance of any doubt this is not an original war time period eagle though it is an interesting variation on the repro theme, a little like the early OLT buckles which strangely are always bought up. A little something interesting if you like odd ball items.

An interesting badge, obviously modelled on a wartime German influence, bearing the title ‘England Awake’. I believe these badges were made in the 1960s or so for the motorbike clubs, however, I cannot prove that one way or another. I have seen them at militaria shows from time to time over the decades though not so often these days. Came in with a collection of badges from auction, might be of interest to somebody. Badge is British made, the lugs are typical of British Army cap badges so most likely made by a badge manufacturer in a limited run, probably a private or club purchase. An interesting badge.
