WW0003
WW1 Imperial Bavarian pilots badge in excellent condition, bavarian crown to top front of badge retaining excellent detail, hollow with flat back plate and broad tapered pin ~ it is possible this is a period replacement with a substantially stronger that normal pin, it has certainly been done a long time ago if this is a actually a replacement pin rather than an original, all patina is consistent, which is nice ~ back plate is marked '800'. A very nice badge.

WW0004
WW0004
A nice WW1 German Observer's badge in solid silver, very heavy at 39gms, has a nice wear and patina to it, pin looks to have been replaced with a much more substantial pin which has a broadness and taper to it, the back is maker marked, difficult to make out the first letter - appears to be '? & S' - a nice badge. Price reflects a 'replaced pin'.
