British No 4 Mk1 Cruciform Spike Bayonet and Scabbard
Scarce original British No 4 Mk1 cruciform spike bayonet and correct scabbard, in excellent condition. Bayonet is stamped 'No 4 MK1' along with 'SM' for the Singer Manufacturing Company, and numbered '31 US2', the 8 inch cruciform blade is undamaged though leans a little off centre with the blade flute correctly etched, locking catch fully functional and dated '41'. Scabbard is in excellent undamaged condition, the throat is stamped 'No4 MK1' and dated 1940 along with another code or number which I cannot make out plus the broad arrow. A fine example of a now difficult to find bayonet.
