WW2 Spitfire cockpit clock, the circular black dial stamped Mk IIIB No. 200/39 R, manufactured by S.SMITH & SONS (MA) LTD LONDON, REF No. 6A/839, L6/39, with twenty four hour alternating orange and white luminous arabic numerals, a 'Time of Trip' dial, with luminous hands and centre sweep seconds hand, with two control knobs, the reverse stamped with a crown over A.M. and numbered 200. In full working order and excellent condition, mounted on to a black circular plaque in the German fashion. A nice scarce item as fitted to Spitfires and many other wartime RAF aircraft including Stirling, Hampden, Wellington and Lancaster bombers, chronometric movement by Jaeger for S. Smith.
