A fine original Imperial German Pickelhaube Fireman's helmet with liner, chin strap and helmet plate. The helmet has it's original black leather visor and neck protecter. The visor has a metal rim edge. Ornate brass lion's head bosses backing red/white ringed cockades retain the original leather chinstrap with buckle. The top of the helmet has a large brass combe. The front of the helmet has a brass shield plate with the insignia 'GB' attached, secured by the usual brass fittings on the inside of the helmet. The interior of the helmet has it's original leather sweatband liner which has a few scuff and wear marks. A really nice looking civil pickelhaube.
