A scarce Wehrmacht Cavalry Saddle by Fischer, dated 1940 along with Waffenampt mark, in excellent and fully serviceable condition, size marked 2, beautiful brown leather with all straps and buckles as per German military regulations. Stirrup irons are British War Department maker marked J&J Wiggen Ltd and dated 1906, which is quite probable as a number of German Cavalry officers visited England in the 1930s, likewise British Cavalry were in Germany in the period following WW1. Spare German marked stirrup iron and two straps. Extremely nice saddle in lovely condition.
