Hallmarked Silver RTC menu holders
Dine in the presence of the finest! A beautifully hallmarked silver menu holder in the form of a WW1 Royal Tank Corps Officer. These menu holders were first introduced into the Messes of the Royal Tank Corps towards the end of the First World War and have graced the tables of the Messes ever since. By the late 1960s there were hardly any surviving menu holders left, many had been lost, damaged or 'liberated', thus the few remaining were treasured with reverence and fond thoughts of those bygone days when the Tank Regiments were numerous. Therefore, we have produced a limited number, faithful in execution to the smallest detail - we re-engineered from one of the few surviving originals, re-chasing and presenting as they were back in 1918-19 - for the remaining Royal Tank Regiments and the Veterans Associations. The menu holder, approx 3.5 inches in height, bears a current hallmark and brings a grace of a former time to any table. The Menu holders will be available in either single figures or table sets of 6 and/or 12, price quoted is per each figure.
