WW1 British 1907 Pattern Bayonet by Wilkinson
An excellent original WW1 1918 dated British 1907 pattern bayonet by Wilkinson complete with the correct bayonet frog. Blade is clean, marked at the ricasso with Crown 'GR' (George Rex), 1907 (pattern) and dated '2 18' (February 1918) though this is difficult to read, the month might actually be a '7' for July. The reverse is stamped with inspection marks. The wooden grips have usual age wear, the pommel is stamped '3402'. Bayonet is complete with its original leather scabbard which is stamped 'HGR 17' and the broad arrow inspection mark. This is a good example of a WW1 bayonet with its correct bayonet frog.
