WW1 British 1907 Pattern Bayonet by Wilkinson, matched bayonet and scabbard numbers
WW1 1917 dated British 1907 pattern bayonet by Wilkinson complete with the correct bayonet frog. Regimentally marked 'T 7NF' to 7th Territorial Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers. An excellent original WW1 dated 1907 pattern Wilkinson made bayonet with the benefit of being regimentally marked. Blade is clean, marked at the ricasso with Crown 'GR' (George Rex), 1907 (pattern) and dated '8 17' (August 1917). The reverse is stamped with inspection marks. The wooden grips have usual age wear, the pommel is stamped 'T 7NF' to 7th Territorial Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers together with weapon number '402'. Bayonet is complete with its original leather scabbard, which has matching weapon stamp number of 402 this is exceptionally scarce to find matching bayonet and scabbard numbers. The leather of the scabbard is also stamped but very difficult to read, possibly an inspection mark. This is a very nicely marked bayonet with matching scabbard and bayonet weapon issue numbers with its correct bayonet frog.
