Spanish model 1913 long Mauser bayonet
Spanish M1913 "long" Mauser Bayonet in very good condition, sadly without its leather scabbard. This bayonet fits both the Spanish Mauser Rifle (Fusil) Model of 1893 and the Spanish Mauser Short Rifle (Mosqueton) Model 1916. The hilt has steel bird's head pommel with smooth wooden grips and a steel crossguard with muzzle-ring. The blade is single-edged, single-fullered with manufacturer's stamp on one side of the ricasso - Artilleria CA-Nacionale Toledo and has the crossed cannons and crown mark plus serial numbered on the opposite side 70375. These bayonets were also used by Mexico and possibly Portugal. Nice bayonet that does not appear often on the market.
