Pre-WW1 German Field Artillery Service Manual dated 1901
A scarce pre-WW1 German Field Artilleryman's Service manual ‘Kanoniere und fahrer der feldartillerie' - the handbook/service book of instruction for service within the feild artillery as an artilleryman and driver, being as guns were horsedrawn at that time, owners details are on the inside cover. The book was issued in 1901. The book covers absolutely everything a recruit or serving artillery personnel need to know from the gun, its limber, field craft and gun positioning, barrack duties, insignia, medals and awards and so much more. There are numerous colour plates to aid recognition for the soldier. This is a scarce book that rarely comes on to the market, especially in this excellent condition plus an excellent read for the early Prussian to WW1 collector. A scarce early German military manual.
